Montana Youth Hostel

Montana Family and Youth hostel is located in beautiful surroundings on the hillside of Mount Ulriken. From here you will get a magnificent view over Bergen city centre. If you are up for a hike, hiking trails start just outside our doorstep.

We have excellent parking facilities, wireless internet and a healthy Breakfast buffet - all of this is included in the accomodation price.

Enjoy making your dinner at our fully equipped guest kitchen, relax in the TV-lounge, have fun playing foosball and table tennis, or make a break in the back yard overlooking the city.

Both individual travellers and families may feel like at home here at Montana hostel.


NB: Breakfast will NOT be served in December 2009 and January 2010 due to renovations. You are welcome to use our self catering guest kitchen!


NB: Check-in in low season (Oct-Apr) is only possible until 10 pm.

Directions

The bus number 31 leaves Strandgaten in the middle of the city centre, outside the Xhibition shopping centre (in Smastrandgaten), and from Kong Oscars gate near the railway station. It uses approximately 15 minutes, and when you exit the bus, you'll be about 200 metres from the youth hostel. Look for a nearby sign.

To find us from the railway station, leave through the main entrance (under the big neon clock, through the terminal). Head to your right, and continue walking until you get to the main road (named Kong Oscars gate). Turn right, find a bus stop at the same side of the road, and take bus no. 31 (the name of the bus is 'Laegdene').
