Holiday House Ruza

Are you looking for adventure, unique experiences and diverse leisure activities? Or you rather wish to spend some lazy days on the beach? No matter what you choose to do, at your holiday accommodation you want to feel comfortable and safe, just like at your home.

You will find all of this at our Holiday house 'Ruza' offering nine comfortably equipped apartments and a large open-air terrace, located close to the sea (150 metres) in the beautiful village of Kastel Stafilic in Central Dalmatia, Croatia.

The house has nine apartments in total: four two-bed apartments, four three-bed apartments and one four-bed apartment. All apartments are airconditioned, have a balcony (some have a beautiful seaview), kitchenette, dinette, WC, shower, SAT-TV and radio.


Whether you decide to take a swim, to sunbath at the local beach, visit the nearby cities of Split (18 km) and Trogir (6 km) with their many attractions, shops, cafes and restaurants, to raft the magnificent Cetina River or to hike in the Kozjak mountains. All of this and much more is so close, so that you will never feel bored.

On top, we will do everything possible to make you feel comfortable and relaxed, so that you are in the position to fully enjoy all of the beauties of Kastela and Central Dalmatia. Whenever you return from an adventurous day of activities to our holiday house 'Ruza' , you will feel like coming back home.
Our house is a friendly one. All of our guests get our maximum attention. We are simply more than just an accommodation.

Kastel Stafilic is part of the city of Kaštela. Kastela has little more than 35.000 inhabitants. It is composed of seven connected villages. Each village is specific with its castle, church and village centre. The seven Kaštelas are: Kaštel Štafilic, Kaštel Novi, Kaštel Stari, Kaštel Lukšic, Kaštel Kambelovac, Kaštel Gomilica and Kaštel Sucurac. The most beautiful beaches of Kastala can be found in Kaštel Štafilic, just a minute away from Apartment House Ruza.

The city of Kaštela is located in Central Dalmatia, close to Split and Trogir. It is located in the lowlands known as 'Kaštelansko polje', protected by the Kozjak mountains to the north, east and west. 'Kaštelansko polje' is a fruitful area. For thousand of years the inhabitants of Kastela have been growing vineyards, cherries, olives, fig-trees, lemons, oranges, kiwi, all sorts of vegetables and flowers...The climate is typical mediteranian with long and warm summers and mild and sunny winters. From the mountain Kozjak one has a wonderful view over the Kastela bay. Grill facilities on the top of the mountain are at your disposal.

If one likes enjoying pure nature, one can take walks along the sea promenade and rocky aths 'accompanied' with stone pines as well as on the Kozjak mountain. One might also wish to visit one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in Croatia which located in Kaštel Lukšic.

Route Description describing the way from the direction of the
international airport 'Split-Kastela' (or from Trogir) to our house:

Take the direction to the city of Kastela (that consists of seven parts: Kastel Stafilic, Kastel Novi, Kastel Stari, Kastel Luksic, Kastel Kambelovac, Kastel Gomilica, Kastel Sucurac).

When you enter the town of Kastel Stafilic (look out for the yellow sign „Kastel Stafilic“ on the right hand side), continue driving some 150 metres along the main road („Cesta Dr. Franje Tudjamana“) until you see the sign 'Apartments Ruza – More than just an accommodation“. Follow the sign and turn right into the street „Nehajski put'.

After some 150 metres, our apartment house „Ruza“ appears on the left hand side (look out for the sign „Apartmani Ruza“, that is set outside the house. Welcome!
