Hostel Soomaa

Hostel Soomaa is a perfect place for low budget travellers to combine nature trips in Soomaa National Park with all the fun and cultural splendours of Estonian summer capital Pärnu. The aim of ours, is to give you a little different view of the country, that you would find while staing in the city. The Hostel is located in Jõesuu village- gateway to Soomaa National Park which is 30 minutes drive from Pärnu; 1,5 hrs drive from Tallinn and Tartu; 3hrs drive from Riga.

Hostel Soomaa has private rooms single sex dormitories and mixed dorms for backpackers/groups.

- We have excellent surroundings for nature activities, such as canoeing in the summer, cross-country skiing in the winter, bog-walking and horseback riding all year round. Sea Kayak´ing in cooperation with Kormoran Kayak team.
- Different guided tours are organized from the hostel.

- A shuttle to National Park and trainstation.
- Rental of outdoor equipment bicycles, canoes, skis, snowshoes etc. is available.

Hostel Soomaa does not take after any common accommodation systems, but rather makes and follows its own way of offering you a good service!

Hostel Soomaa is located in village of Joesuu: 30 minutes drive from Parnu; 40 min drive from Viljandi; 1.5 hours drive from Tallinn, 3.5 hours drive from Riga.

Public buses from Parnu to Joesuu - 14.25 and 18.00

Hostel Soomaa provides a transfer from Tori bus and trainstation, 6 kilometres from Joesuu

Buses from Parnu to Tori - 08.30, 09.00, 10.20, 13.40, 15.25.

Trains from Tallinn to Tori - 06.58 and 16.30.
