Hospedaje Magallanes

Hospedaje Magallanes is a small bed and breakfast in the heart of Punta Arenas run by its own owners, a Chilean-German family.

We have four double rooms with comfy beds and prepare a good home-made breakfast as the right start for a new day and your next outdoor adventure here at this far end of the world.

In the evening, we often get together with our guests and some of our local and international friends for a good dinner, campfire or a BBQ in our backyard, to exchange travel stories, a slide show or a DVD movie night.

Being travelers ourselves, we know about the importance of having a hot shower available 24 hrs. a day, facilities for getting your laundry done and first hand information on where to go and what to see.

We speak Spanish, English and German fluently and a bit of basic French and may therefore make your stay in Patagonia a whole lot easier. We may also assist you in the organization and reservation of a variety of tours and services, such as the penguin colonies (Seno Otway and Isla Magdalena), Torres del Paine and Los Glaciares National Parks, the Fitz Roy massif, Isla Navarino, Cabo Froward, El Calafate, Perito Moreno Glacier, Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego and much more...

Directions

We're right down town Punta Arenas. Find the 'Abu Gosch' supermarket (everybody in town knows it). The street, where the parking lot of the supermarket is at, is called 'Magallanes'. It's a one way street. Follow the direction of the traffic. Find us on the next block on the left side: Magallanes 570. There is a sign indicating our hostel.
