Hostal Barrera

Hostal Barrera is a cozy guesthouse located in the historic and architecturally important part of Madrid, an area called The Walk of Art where the main museums of Spain meet: Prado Museum, Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum and Reina Sofia National Art Museum.


All our rooms have its own decoration, all outside rooms, refurbished and equipped with Private bathroom, FREE WI-FI access with your laptop, phone, TV + satellites ( CNN, TV5, Eurosport.. ), double glazed windows, central heating, air conditioned, music, security box, etc.
NO BREAKFAST SERVICE

Atocha Railway Station, Botanical Garden, Retiro Park, Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol are all close by, and not only cultural life but also the night life is pretty near; live music, discotheques, jazz, cinemas, theaters and so on.


Cancellation policy: no charge if cancellation is notified 48 hours before arrival date. Otherwise we will charge 1 night rate. To the specific periods below cancellation must be notified 72 hours before arrival. Cancellations will be accepted only via fax or email.
In case of NO SHOW 1 night rate will be charged.

Atocha Railway Station to Tribunal, then line 1 to Anton Martin.

Once you get off this metro you are in Atocha St. This should take about 35 minutes.

By Bus:
From the airport to Avenida de America where you take the metro Line 6 ( grey color ) to Pacifico and you transfer to Line 1 . You will get off in Anton Martin metro stop and as you exit you are in Atocha st. Just walk few metres down the hill and you will find us on the right side of the street.

By Taxi:
The price depends on the way to get here and the time. Anyway, the price shouldn’t be more than 25 or 30€. Ask for your receipt if you pay more than this rate and check that the driver license is written .
