Hostel Achalay

Achalay is a small hostel with a personal atmosphere right in the centre of Bariloche.

The staff is Bariloche- born and bred, bilingual and keen to help you with any info about the area, like excursions , tirps, hiking, trekking.

Directions

The Hostel Achalay is located on Morales 564, only three blocks from the Civic Center.

From the bus/train station: Take buses #10, 20, 21 or 70. If you take bus #10, 20 or 21 get off at the corner of 'Moreno' and 'Morales' St. (at the YPF gas station) and if you take bus #70, you have to get off at '20 de febrero' and '24 de septiembre' St.

Ask thedriver for these streets if you have any doubts. It takes between 5 to 10 minutes and costs $1.30

Another option is to take a taxi or remis, which costs $6.-$8.- and takes approximately 5 min.

From the airport:
Take the city bound bus which boards to the right of the main exit as you leave. You can buy your ticket on board for $2.5. After about thirty minutes it will leave you on Moreno St. between Beschtedt and Palacios.

From there, walk three blocks from Moreno in the same direction of the bus. Then turn left at the YPF service station (Morales St.) and go up two and a half blocks. We are on the left.
