WHY PAY FOR DORMS WHEN YOU CAN HAVE PRIVATES FOR THE SAME PRICE? Princeton Backpackers is a unique, self-contained, and fully furnished backpackers hostel consisting of two 19-storey towers. Amenities include outdoor deck, Asian-food restaurant, café, TV Lounge and more.

It is set in a very lively area in the city centre, only a short walk to the University of Auckland and Auckland University of Technology. It takes 10 minutes walk to get to the CBD with all the businesses, shops and entertainments.

All units are for 1 to 4 persons in separate rooms of two. Telephone with free local calls in every bedroom. Shower/toilet and kitchenette (with microwave and fridge) in every unit, shared between 2 bedrooms only (a maximum of only 4 people using it). No more queuing for bathroom even though you are in a single shared bed.


Cooking utensils are available for rental from front desk. Bed configurations are twin, double and 2-level bunkbeds. Book 2 beds to make a private twin room.

Directions

From airport Shuttle can be hailed for NZ$20 for 1st person and NZ$5 for each additional person.

AirBus stops in Sheraton Hotel Auckland. Princeton is only 200m down Symonds Street on the right hand side.

Alternatively, take the LINK Bus and stop around Wakefield St and Symonds St intersection.
