Directions

Tamarind Beach Hotel is situated in Uroa Village, a traditional fishing village, on the east coast of Zanzibar. From town it takes 40 minutes by car (36km), tarmac road all the way.

Airlines with direct international flights to Zanzibar include KLM/ Kenya Airways, Gulf Air, Ethiopian Airlines and major airlines such as British Airways and Swiss fly to Dar es Salaam.
The boat service Dar es Salaam-Zanzibar is very good, many departures daily and the crossing takes 1 hour 45 minutes.
