El Punto is a small 6 room Bed & Breakfast. The buildings used to be an elementary school back in the 80's. The place has been refurbished and converted into a Bed & Breakfast and commercial center.
It still maintains the same filling of a school, nothing has been built since then. Only fixed and adapted.
The Bed & Breakfast is owned by Mariana, a local, she speaks perfect english, when she is around she will help you out. If she is not around and you need help, and the staff cannot understand you they will call her for help.
The staf f is all local, they are very friendly and helpful, be patient with them as they do not speak any english.
The rooms are very spacious they all have a loft that accomodates up to 2 more people. Families with 2 children can book a double room and still be able to stay in the same room. El Punto does not charge anything additional to children. (Children stay for free)
All the rooms come with breakfast, that is deliscous, fresh and served in a beautiful manner.
The garden, houses a large variety of exotic plants and trees, that attracts many butterflies and birds.
For those traveling for business or in need of internet, their is free wireless access in all the property for our guests (no computers are available)
Laundry and pressing of garnments is free of charge.
Casa Verde Restaurant and Lounge bar, serves lunch and dinner.
The art around the Bed & Breakfast is all painted by Mariana, if you are interested in purchasing one her paintings she can come up with a deal for you.

Remember el punto is not for everyone, it is a diffrerent place , it is a special place, for people who appreciate the effort of hard work, the local culture and art.

Space available for rent, we are looking for people interested in opening: art shops, spa, gallery, boutiques, farmers market,chocolate store, flower shop,jewely store.

Look for el punto sign, and the pink log varanda outside. Behind the bus stop on the right hand side of the Panamerican highway.
We are located along the Costa Rican Panamerican highway, 10 minutes away from Liberia's International Airport. 150 meters South of Emesa gas Station, Liberia.

COMMING FROM AIRPORT, TAKE HIGHWAY TOWARDS THE CENTER OF LIBERIA, TAKE A RIGHT ON THE MAIN INTERSECTION, YOU WILL SEE THE SIGN ON THE RIGHT HANd SIDE OF THE INTERAMERICAN HIGHWAY.

Comming from San Jose, pass the Mall in Liberia keep going about 2 km. North we are on the left hand side. Before the gas station and the Burger King
