Welcome to A Casa di Dante in Florence bed and breakfast.

We opened in 2002 in a beautifully restored 18th century building and offer you the magic atmosphere and the charm of living in a Florentine home.

All the rooms and bathrooms of our bed and breakfast have been recently renovated and are furnished in the typical Florentine style with private bath, shower or tub, hairdryer, colour TV and air conditioning. Rooms are spacious and we have kept the original floors.

Each room is dedicated to one of the characters of the Divine Comedy: Beatrice, Virgilio, Dante, Guido Cavalcanti, Paolo e Franscesca and the beautiful suite - the Paradise suite – offers a splendid view over the Fiesole hills.


Our guests can choose between double or twin rooms, they are all shining and tourists may well feel as if they are in their own house. The staff is delighted to welcome you to our friendly and family like atmosphere.

We are located very close to the oldest part of Florence, near San Marco and the Accademy of Fine Arts. In just 10 minutes walking you will reach the Cathedral and San Lorenzo. The Fortezza da Basso and the Congress Palace are easily reachable on foot in too.

Directions

If you are travelling by car it is very simple to reach us, from any exit of the Motorway or from any directions you issue indications to "Viali di Circonvallazione " and you will find Piazza della Libertà and the Viale Don Minzoni.

If you arrive by train take buses n 1 or 7 or 17 from Santa Maria Novella main train station and you’ll get to our place in 10 minutes.

From the airport of Florence there is a bus service to the city centre terminal in Santa Maria Novella and from there take bus 1 or 7 or 17.
