Albergue Das Laranjeiras

Situated in a beautiful and totally renovated manor house in Pelourinho, Albergue das Laranjeiras combines colonial-style warmth with modern, efficient facilities. With a complete self-service structure including a snack bar, lounge and TV room, dining room the hostel is rated 'very good, Hostelling International's highest rating.

Like other hostels, Laranjeiras offers dormitory-style rooms with lockers and private double or triple rooms with or without bathroom. All together there are 19 rooms with a total of 91 beds.

The district of Pelourinho in Salvador, the original capital of Brazil, is a World Cultural Heritage Site and now one of the city's most lively districts. Right in the middle of this cultural and musical mix, you will find Albergue das Laranjeiras.

Directions

From the Bus Station:
cross the pedestrian footbridge from the Bus Station to Iguatemi mall and take the 'executivo' bus to Praça da Sé at the bus stop outside Iguatemi mall. Get off at the last bus stop Praça da Sé and cross Terreiro de Jesus Square until São Francisco Church. Following this street - Ordem Terceira ( old Inacio Acioli) around the corner with Rua das Laranjeiras, you can see the hostel.

From the Airport:
take the Airport-Praça da Sé 'executivo' bus . Get off at the last bus stop Praça da Sé and cross Terreiro de Jesus Square until São Francisco Church. Following this street - Ordem Terceira ( old Inacio Acioli) around the corner with Rua das Laranjeiras, you can see the hostel.
