B&b Al Saor

B & B Al Saor is a family-managed place that gives you the possibility to stay in the core of Venice by Rialto Bridge and near to Saint Mark's Square, the historical and cultural centre of the city.

Our B & B offers guests a chance to stay in a characteristic Venetian house (known as a Ca'), finely restored and decorated by a local artist in the style of the old Venetian Republic.

We are located close to ‘Ca d' Oro’ one of the ancient beautiful palaces of the Dogi and across the Grand Canal from the famous Rialto fish and spices market. It is excellent just to lose yourself in Venetian streets and discover the silence and the poetry of a unique city.

The rooms were completely restored in June 2003, and are air conditioned. Some rooms have a fully equipped kitchen giving our guests an economical option for eating in at any time.
Most of the rooms have en suite bathrooms which are decorated with beautiful mirrors and lamps from Murano.


Weather permitting, breakfast will be served surrounded by flowers on our terrace, in a relaxing atmosphere, between 8.30am and 10am where, if you want, you can just rest and maybe read a book.

Directions

The hotel is just in front of the railway station, so you must cross the Scalzi Bridge and walk right along the canal for 200 metres, we are there right on the canal.

From Piazzale Roma (the square from which you catch the bus to and from airport) we are about 250 metres away. Train station direction there will be 2 small bridges to cross and we are just in front of the train station an easy walk.
