Egan’s house is an elegant terrace of Edwardian houses situated in a quiet, residential area. We are the second highest rated 3* guesthouse in Dublin at 70% - rated by Failte Ireland (Irish Tourist Board).
We are conveniently located just 7km from Dublin Airport (direct bus route and only 10 minutes by car) and a mere 2km to the ferry port. Also its only a 20 minutes walk to the city centre and trendy Temple Bar.
Check out is not until 12 noon.

From the Airport by Bus:
Bus Numbers 41/A/B and 16A
All buses from the Airport pass along the same route. The stop for Egan’s is on Lower Drumcondra road, just before the Guinness Railway Bridge. Directly across from this stop is St. Alphonsus Road, take the 4th right off this road and you will be on Iona Park and Egan’s is on your left.

From the Airport by Car:
Follow directions for the city centre. After about 5 miles prepare to turn right after Fagan's Pub (on the right). This is Hollybank Road. Go all the way to the end, take a left into Iona Park and you will see Egan’s on your right (at the end of Iona Park.

From the City Centre by Bus:
Bus Numbers 13, 19, 19A, 83
From O’Connell Street, going to the north of the city, take the above buses to Prospect Way. From the bus stop cross over to the traffic island and turn left onto Iona Road (opposite the Botanic House Pub). The 1st turn left will take you onto Iona Park at Egan’s.


From the City Centre by Car:
Continue to the end of O’Connell St. in a northerly direction i.e. going in airport direction. Follow the traffic around the bottom of Parnell Square and continue straight up Bolton Street and Dorset St which then becomes Drumcondra Road. Take the first turn left after the 7th set of traffic lights, (St Alphonsus Road, just after the railway bridge), then the 4th right turn and Egan’s is there on the left.

From the Ferry Port by Car:
Follow the signs for the Airport. On Drumcondra Road take the first left after going under the Railway Bridge, then take the 4th right turn and Egan’s will be on your left.
