Hostel Rév Balaton

The Balaton region is Hungary’s most famous holiday resort. Szántód, 120 km far from Budapest, is the region’s well-known village on the southern shore of the lake between Zamárdi and Balatonföldvár facing the Tihany peninsula.

One can get there easily either by train from Budapest or by car or bus on motorway M7. Hostel Rév is situated in the center of Szántód, 200 m from the Lake shore and ferry port.

The hostel has 62 double rooms with bathroom.

In our beautiful old-style restaurant guests can enjoy Hungarian dishes, grill and vegetarian specialities and the best of the region’s wines. In the beer garden, evening parties, discos and kareoke programs entertain our guests. Close to the hostel you can find the beach where lovers of sunshine and water will have a good time. The region is excellent for those who love nature, the beautiful landscapes and walking, hiking, touring or riding.

Directions

Railway station: Go to Szántód-Kõröshegy from Budapest Déli (southern) railway station. From Szántód-Kõröshegy railway station the hostel is about 1300m to the East.Keep the directions to the ferry port until you'll see a 3 storey building with RÉV HOTEL sign on the top.
