The Metropole Hotel - 3 star Hotel offering comfortable accommodation at low prices. We are situated right off Sliema's popular promenade and very close to a number of language schools in Sliema - Malta's busy tourist area and shopping center. Very close are situated shops, exchange bureaus, supermarkets, bars and internet cafes; also restaurants offering local and international cuisine.

St. Julian's/Paceville (Malta's best night-life centre) is also nearby - 20 mins. on foot and a couple of mins. by bus. The Island's best discos, bars and restuarants are here. Bus stops to all the main Island attractions is situated a few metres away from the Hotel entrance.
The hotel bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and are equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV, direct dial telephones and most rooms have a hairdryer.
Other facilities include evening entertainment, residents lounge, roof top splash-pool, sun terraces and a pool bar (open in summer).

Buffet continental breakfast is included in the price and whoever wishes an English breakfast platter can avail of one at only EUR2.

Directions

By bus:
From the airport take bus number 8 to Valletta, which is Malta's capital and the main bus terminus is located there. From there it is possible to take any of the following buses: 60, 61, 62, 63. Bus number 63 stops exactly in front of Hotel Metropole while the rest stop about 2 minutes away at Sliema Promenade. Just ask the driver to stop at Sliema Independence Gardens.

Buses from Valletta to Sliema are very frequent and only cost EUR0.50. Tickets are bought on the bus.

By car:
When you leave the airport head towards Valletta. Just follow the signs and you will eventually reach Sliema. When you reach the promenade, follow the road by the sea until you reach Sliema playground and large Independence Gardens. Dingli Str is right opposite these gardens and the hotel is just at the beginning of this street.
