The self-proclaimed 'San José Party Hostel' ticks all the boxes. Run by a fun pair of Tico twins, they've exclusively employed close friends and family so the place has an extremely close-knit and amiable vibe about it. By day beautiful bodies flirt and frolic in the hostel pool, while at night the rooftop bar and disco-ball-lit dance-floor goes off, as guests chug back superhero-themed cocktails (the fiery guaro-heavy Spiderman is our favorite) and grind away to reggaeton beats. Partying-aside, the hostel is extremely well run and is great for organizing excursions and onward trips to other parts of the country.

Directions

We offer our own shuttle from and to the airport cheaper than a normal taxi, (email us for rates). Just send us your flight details in the confirmation email, and we will be waitting for u out of the main exit of the airport holding a sign that says 'HostelPangea Shuttle'and a list with your name.

If you are in town you can walk to PANGEA, located only 3 blocks away from the main square of downtown, PLAZA DE LA CULTURA. We are the big blue gate in front of the Hotel Santo Thomas.
