Kingfisher Safaris Resort

Kingfisher Safaris Resort is one of the best destinations in Uganda for all who want to relax, enjoy and learn about the rich cultural life here.

It is a private German/Ugandan family business specifically designed for comfort and situated direct at the shore of Lake Victoria. It takes you five minutes to get to the source of the nile with the boat.

We have got 6 double rooms, 4 family units, 2 suits, 2 twin and 28 single rooms. Family units have 2 rooms with a connecting door, twin rooms are double rooms with 2 single beds in it. Thus we can accommodate approximately up to 96 people at our resort. Our resort has a swimming pool, large garden, lake access, conferance hall for upto 100 people and a meeting room for upto 20 people, secure parking places, campsite, bar and restaurant and a children’s playground.


Some of the activities you can do in the area include bird-watching, white-water rafting, Quack biking, fishing, go on small day tours (eg visiting Samuka Island) and much more.

Directions

By boat:
You can either hire a boat from the sailing club (jinja) or we can pick you from some spots with our boat.

By car/ bus/taxi:
From Kampala: Before you reach the Owen Damm at Nile Breweries branch to the right and follow the signs (5.5km)or get out from the taxi/bus and board a boda boda and instruct them to take you to Kingfisher Safaris Resort

From Kenya: After the Owen Damm at Nile Breweries branch to the left and follow the signs(5.5 km)or get out from the taxi/bus and board a boda boda and instruct them to take you to Kingfisher Safaris Resort.
