Our guesthouse is situated in Soppong (Pangmapa), the 'Wilderness Adventure Centre'. It´s a small Shan village located in the Pai Wildlife Sanctuary in northwest Thailand, Province Mae Hong Son (60 km northeast of Mae Hong Son).

The facilities include eight bungalows (2 beds, shower, hot water, fan, mosquito nets), two 2-bed rooms in the main building, the Jasmine Room in the Riverside House (king size bed, shower, hot water, fan, mosquito net) and the Lotus House (king size bed + additional bed, living and bed room, TV and DVD-Player, bathroom, convenient for families). We have a restaurant (Thai and Western food) and a bar. You can relax at our swimming pool, in the pavilion right by the Nam Lang River or in our beautiful tropical garden. The mountainous and remote Soppong area is famous for its extensive forests, numerous rivers, waterfalls, caves (up to 14 km long) and hill tribe villages belonging to Lisu, Karen, Lahu, Hmong and others.


We organize trekking, caving, white water canoeing, elephant riding or visiting hill tribe villages for small groups (usually 2-6 persons). Our visitors are backpackers, nature lovers, expatriate families from Chiang Mai or researchers like biologists or ethnologists.



Massage and motorbike rental are available.

Directions

In Chiang Mai you can take the bus to Mae Hong Son or hire a car or motorbike. It takes about 4-5 hours to get to Soppong/Pangmapa from Chiang Mai. The guesthouse is situated about 200-300m from the bus station. You can tell the bus driver to let you out at the Little Eden Guesthouse, before reaching the Soppong bus station.

You can also fly from Chiang Mai to Mae Hong Son and then take a bus to Pangmapa. The trip takes about 2 hours.

Alternatively, we can arrange to pick you up at the Mae Hong Son airport (for a fee).
