The B&B Antica Posta is situated at the first floor of a palace with elevator just in the heart of Florence..It is just a few steps from the Central Railway Station S. Maria Novella, as well as the Fortress 'da Basso', the Congress Centre and Business Centre where the main shows and expositions of the city take place and also all the principal museums and monuments (Duomo, Piazza Signoria, Ponte Vecchio).

The city’s main shopping streets (Via Tornabuoni, Via dei Calzaiuoli, Via Strozzi, Via Roma) are nearby as is the S. Lorenzo market that’s a real jewel of architecture (its famous all over the world for its Florentine handicraft). Renowned restaurants and typical, cafés and wine cellars can be found round these areas.


Our five bright and large rooms are finely furnished according to the Tuscan charm. The floors are in “cotto of Impruneta' and make a hot and pleasant atmosphere. Each room is provided with a private bath and hair dryer, air conditioning, colour TV and mini-bar.
On awakening in the morning you'll find breakfast served directly to your room, so you'll be quickly ready to discover one of the most beautiful and fascinating cities in the world.

Directions

From the airport
The airport Vespucci and the Central Railway Station S. Maria Novella are connected every 30 minutes by the Ataf and Sita Bus service. Ticket price € 4,00=.
You can also take a taxi with an approximate cost of € 15,00=.
From the motorway A1

Exit ' Firenze Nord ' Follow the signs marked ' centro ' which should lead you into V.le Guidoni. At its end on the right you'll find Via Forlanini; drive along it completely. Turn around the rotary intersection and take on your left V.le Redi. At its end you'll be into V.le Belfiore . Here, you'll be forced to drive along Via Guido Monaco in front of you because of the one way traffic. After few meters turn left into Via Cittadella ; drive along it and you'll be again into V.le Belfiore. Our B&B is at N° 50.
Exit ' Firenze Sud '
Drive along the turn-off completely and then turn left along the Arno river . Continue straight on till to the ring avenues, then drive along V.le Amendola ( Piazza Beccaria ) , V.le Gramsci ( Piazza Donatello ), V.le Matteotti ( Piazza della Libertà ) , V.le Lavagnini ( Fortress ' da Basso ' ).
Continue on your left on to V.le Belfiore which lead you under the railway bridge and then into V.le Belfiore. After few meters you'll find our B&B on the left at N° 50.

From the Central Railway Station Santa Maria Novella
Take the exit on your right ( trucks at your back ) and go along Via Alamanni . Cross Viale Fratelli Rosselli and continue straight on Via Guido Monaco. At its end turn right and you'll be in Viale Belfiore. Our B&B is at N° 50.
