Demontevin Hotel

For those desiring accommodation in a quieter, old-world setting, DeMontevin   Lodge offers a unique welcome.     The hotel is well preserved, despite the distinction of being 120 years old and typifies the elegance of 18th century architecture. Beautifully decorated inside and out with furnishings reminiscent of an exclusive residence of yesteryear, the building has been the recipient on the Berger Paints Architecture Award. With its dominating brick exterior, the hotel sits elegantly on Titchfield Hill, once a neighborhood for the wealthy.Located in Port Antonio at the corner of Fort George and Musgrave Streets, it was previously owned by Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Mullings. Mrs Mullings was formerly the cook for American movie actor Errol Flynn, who once inhabited Navy Island, just across the harbour.Demontevin Lodge offers you the unique opportunity to recapture some of the old-world charm for which Port Antonio is often celebrated.  There are rooms with both private and shared bathrooms.  Continental or Jamaican style breakfast is served between 8.00am and 10.30pm and dinner is served between 7.00pm and 10.00pm.Our restaurant and bar has now been reopened.

Transportation is also readily accessible.Transportation can be arranged to and from airports as well as the Ken Jones aerdrome located on the outskirts of Port Antonio.We also arrange transportation to all major attractions within Portland.
