Apartment House Jager

Jager family apartments, in the village of Srednja vas on the edge of Triglav National Park, are a perfect starting point for nature walks and mountaineering. All apartments (from two to five beds) come with their own balcony and are completely equipped with satellite TV, direct dial telephone and hairdryer.

You can use a storage room for bikes, mountain boots, ski equipment and a ski-boot warmer. There is also a bar in the house. We can organise every kind of sport program as well as excursions with our taxi service. The nearest skiing centre at Kobla is 6 kms and Vogel cable car is 7 kms away. We are located 200 m on foot from a bus stop, and 6 kms from the railway station at Bohinjska Bistrica.

How to reach us?


There are few roads that lead to 'Bohinj', however the best and shortest one is the road through Bled. The main place 'Bohinjska Bistrica' is located around 25 kilometers from 'Bled'. Please keep in mind that by name 'Bohinj' the whole valley with mountains and plateaus is considered, not only the village by the 'Bohinj lake' (the name of that village is 'Ribcev Laz').

Approx. one kilometer before 'Bohinjska Bistrica' you will find the crossing, where one road turns hard right (if you are coming from direction of Bled). At that crossing you will also find signposts for the 'Srednja vas' and the other villages. From here on you still have about 5 kilometers of driving. The road is taking you steep up the hill, at new crossing you keep driving straight (right is the road for 'Koprivnik' and 'Pokljuka'), through village 'Cesnjica'. The village after 'Cesnjica' is called Srednja vas. The village itself is quite a long one and if you are coming from the described direction you will have to drive through the whole village. Just few meters before the end of the village there is one crossing in shape of letter Y, which is located right across the bridge. Left road is taking you further to the Bohinj lake, however you have to take the right road. Soon you should be able to see our apartment house up the hill. However you still have to drive about 200 m further to another crossing, where you have to turn HARD right (on that crossing at the right side you should see our signpost). And you arrived in the front of our apartment house. Congratulations!

In case you did not manage to turn right before the village 'Bohinjska Bistrica', you do not have to turn around, because there is another way to reach the village 'Srednja vas'. It leads you by the lake. Drive through 'Bohinjska Bistrica', stay on the main road at the crossing (you turn right at that crossing, towards Bohinj lake). The road will take you through numerous villages, however if you stick to the main road, you will arrive to the lake (village 'Ribcev Laz') after 6 kilometers. You turn right opposite the hotel 'Jezero', and across the bridge. Continue the drive through the village 'Stara Fuzina' (there is another bridge you cross), pass village 'Studor' (on left hand side there are some corn-racks/drying-racks) and you will arrive to village 'Srednja vas'. Soon after the village sign, before the bridge, turn left. Soon you should be able to see our apartment house up on the hill. However you still have to drive about 200 m further to another crossing, where you have to turn HARD right (on that crossing at the right side you should see our signpost). And you have arrived in front of our apartment house. Congratulations!
