'Backpackers Proconsolo Rooms' is one of the first hostels in Florence. We know what our guests want to experience in Florence and try our best to accomodate them.
We are located in the heart of historic center. All major sights such as Duomo, Museum Bargello, Uffizi Gallery, Accademia, Santa Croce, Ponte Vecchio are within 5 minutes walking distance.

Our regular check in time is from 10 am to 12.30 pm and from 3 pm to 6.30 pm. If you are arriving before 10 am or after 6.30 pm, please advise us in advance by phone call or email so that we can arrange our staff to check you in.Hostel staff always on hand to answer any questions



Cancellation and Changes Policy:48 hours(two days) before your arrival date

The Backpackers Proconsolo Rooms must receive written notice two days before your arrival date for any cancellations or changes in your reservation or your credit card will be charged in the amount of the first night’s stay. For example, if you are reserved for the 20th of the month we require notification of cancellation or changes by the end of the 18th of the month.
Changes include amendments in your date of arrival, number of nights or number of people in your reservation. We will not alter our policy due to transport strikes, delays due to weather, health problems, or any circumstances outside of your or our control.

Dear BackpackersProconsolo Rooms Guests,

Please be informed that Backpackers Proconsolo Room's reception place will be changed due to the renovation of our reception bar until further notice. You will be checked in at our sister hostel 'Backpackers Florence' and our staff will guide you to your accomodation accordingly afterward.
Please print following instruction for the direction to new reception. Apologize for any inconvenience caused in advance.

From the train station Santa Maria Novella

BUS
There is small electric orange BUS number D, that run from 7 am till 9 pm, Get off at Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge) bus stop. See Cinema Arlechino, and we are just next door at Numb 43. Buzz at Backpackers.

WALKING
go straight onto via Panzani that become via Ceretani, and you'll arrive at Duomo,. Turn right into Via Roma, that becomes Via Calimali and it will bring you to the Old Bridge(Ponte Vechio)
After crossing the bridge, turn left and you are in our street Via dei Bardi. Find Cinema Arlechino. We are next door at number 43.

Important: please buzz ONLY at Backpackers!! We are at 3th floor. Use elevator!
