Welcome to Camping Village Il Poggetto.

Il Poggetto is an holiday park in the bed of Tuscany, situated 15 km southeast from Florence, in the middle of green hills, wine and olive yards, in the famous Chianti Territory.
Florence, the capitol of Arts, is easy to reach by bus. The busstop is only a 50 meters walk away from the camping.

For those who loves shopping, only 6 km away, there is a brand new outlet center (THE MALL), where you can find Valentino, Gucci, Armani, YSL, Dolce & Gabbana and many more.
After a day of shopping, you can take a break in our pool (included in the price). Enjoy our country life by riding a horseback through the Tuscan hills or taste wine at the Chianti bottega nearby!


At the end of your day, don't forget to visit our famous Restaurant. A perfect place to fill up your belly with a great plate of pasta or pizza and a good Chianti wine.

Our nice staff will be glad to help you to plan your holiday, by giving you all the informations you need about Florence, the Chianti region and also about nice campings in Siena, Pisa, Rome and Venice .

REMEMBER:
Check-in time from 3.00 pm until 9.00pm hours, after this time the reception is closed.
For cancellations or modifications; you have to inform us 24 hours before the date of your arrival. Otherwise one night will be charged. In addition during your check-in it’s obligatory to pay the full balance of your reservation, even if you decide to stay less nights than what you have booked.

How to reach us by bus or by train:

BY BUS: from Central Station 'SMN in
Florence (50 mt far from there) in Street ' Santa Caterina da Siena', you find the SITA BUS STATION.
Go at GATE Nr.10, this bus goes to Camping Village Il Poggetto, in the village of Cellai.
LAST BUS 21,00.
Sunday timetable: 8,30 10,00 18,00 19,35 (all inside the building)

BY TRAIN: At Central Station SMN in Florence take the regional train direction AREZZO (never ever the intercity). Exit at RIGNANO SULL'ARNO (ca. 30 minutes). Last train departs 21.35 hours (Nr. last train is 1683). Distance Rignano - camping 6 km, call the reception for a PICK-UP (Important calling before 21.00 hours). Price Rignano - camping: for arrivals until 21.30 hours € 6.00 a person.

BY CAR: take the motorway A1 direction Rome, exit in Incisa Valdarno, turn to the left and after 300 mt to the right. You'll across a little bridge on the river Arno. After that bridge to the right. Follow the main street for 7Km and you'll find us. Before to arrive you'll pass the villages of Burchio, Palazzolo and le Valli
