Hostal Santillan

Situated in one of the most transient and known streets in Madrid, the hostal is located in a building representing the 1930´s in the historic center of Madrid

Walking, one is able to visit the most emblematic sites of Madrid, (Palacio Real, Puerta de Sol, Plaza Mayor, Museo del Prado...) savour it's gastronomy, and enjoy the shows and evening and late night events and activities the city has to offer.

There is no need to use public transport for visiting the center of Madrid, however, the hotel is less than 100 meters from 3 different subway stations and bus stop for the tour bus 'Madrid Vision'.

The enjoyable atmosphere of hostal Santillan, which has been family managed for four generations, will assure you feel at home.

Directions

From the Barajas Airport: From the arrivals terminal one must take the line 8 (pink) to Nuevos Ministerios. Once arrived in this station one must change to the line 10 (azul/blue) direction Puerta del Sur, stopping in the station Plaza de España.The stop is Plaza de España-Gran Via and the Hostal is 80 metros from the stop next to the Gran Via theatre.


Taxi: 28/30 euros.

From the Atocha Train Station: Take metro line number 1(sky blue), and stop in Sol station and then change to line number 3 (yellow) to Plaza España Station.

From the Chamartin Train Station: Take metro line number 10 (navy blue), to Plaza España Station.

From the Estación Sur Bus Station: Take metro line number 6 (grey). Stop at Legazpi Station and change to line number 3 (yellow) to Plaza de España Station.
