At Hostel 99 in wintertime the prices are going down just like the temperature! If you stay 1-2 nights it's 250*. If you stay a minimum of 3 nights the price drops to 200*. After 6 nights you get one for free and don't forget we have free beer on Wednesdays!!! See you in Cesky Krumlov at Hostel 99 a great and affordable place to relax away your winter in Europe!

About us:

Once the 14th century St Elizabeth's Hospital, Hostel 99 has for the last 8 years been the most comfortable, friendly and fun place to stop for a few days (or weeks) in Cesky Krumlov.

Hostel 99 is located just within the medieval walls of this UNESCO World Heritage town, one of the worlds best preserved medieval cities.


Explore the town and get lost in the medieval streets and alleyways, then come home to Hostel 99, the perfect place to meet fellow travelers, cook a meal in the fully equipped kitchen and listen to your favorite music. Play table tennis and enjoy a beer on our sun-terrace with the castle tower as your backdrop. Sit by the fire or watch TV from our ever-growing collection of movies and DVDs. Kick back and relax... We'll even do your laundry for you!

For the more adventurous, take our rafts and float the meandering Vltava or ask us to book you a bike, canoe, kayak, raft or horse ride for even more action.

With artwork hanging all over the place, you're bound to have a colorful stay! The attic dorms are full of character. Choose from one of our 6 dorms (from 3 to 10 beds) or our tree house-like lofts - with absolutely no bunk beds! Choose from a comfortable double or a Renaissance style private suite.

Have breakfast in our new Deli! Great sandwiches, baguettes, croissants and more... Savor delicious Illy coffee while viewing pictures from locals' travels.

The Restaurant 99 and bar offer some of the best Czech and American-inspired dishes in town. Join the locals or guests on the lovely terrace or inside by the fireplace, while enjoying a drink, good food at reasonable prices.

Every Wednesday share a free keg of the local Eggenberg Pivo (that means beer in Czech - very important to know!).

We know from the last 8 years' of experience that once you stay at Hostel 99, you'll find it hard to leave!

Directions

If coming into Cesky Krumlov by direct bus from Prague you'll stop at the main bus station. From there follow the main road down the hill. When you get to the traffic light turn left after the bridge, walk up the stairs and you will see us right next to the entrance gate to the old town!

If you take a bus that stops in Ceske Budejovice and from there you get a connection bus to Krumlov get off at Spicak bus station, the second last stop (ask the bus driver!). Then walk up to the bridge, make a right and walk through the gate. You'll see us!

If you are getting in by train, get off at the Cesky Krumlov station, follow directions for the center, and walk down the hill and across the bridge leading toward the entrance gate to the old town and turn left right after the gate.
