Log Cab-Inn is a family owned and operated facility for that personal touch that makes all the difference. We are a family who has lived in the Cayo area for three generations. Enjoy conversing with our guests about our background and exchanging stories about Belizean living.

Conveniently located one mile from San Ignacio Town providing easy access to most points of interest. Cahal Pech is only a fifteen minute walk from your cabin, Xunantunich Mayan ruin is just ten miles away from us. Our welcome center, nestled on a hillside overlooking the gardens and cottages below, is ideal for simply relaxing having a cool drink or taking an evening meal. Delicious family style meals include tropical desserts, fresh fruits, and vegetables. Special dietary needs are easily accommodated.


Other services are laundry, postal, e-mail and room service. Live entertainment is available upon request. Cayo is a great place to take it easy and discover the natural wonders of the area at your own pace. We arrange tours to all the popular destinations. Directions

There are several ways to get to Log Cab-Inn.
Transfer from Airport or Belize city to Log Cab-Inn We meet you at and bring directly to Log Cab-Inn.


Our public buses run on an hourly basis from Belize City and are generally punctual. Its easier if you take the express buses, as the regular ones tend to make a lot of stops along the way. Not a big deal it just takes longer. When you arrive at the airport, take a taxi (approx. US$15 fare) to bus terminal. I would recommend you ask the taxi driver, to take you to the terminal departing for San Ignaico. Bus comapanies vary depending on your time of departure. Once in San Ignacio, you may take a taxi (approx US$3.50 fare) to our place, or ask the bus conductor to let you off at our entrance, from there its only a five minute walk, however its a bit inconvenient with luggage, if you let us know approximate time of arrival, we'd be happy to wait for you there.

Its a 2 hr drive from International Airport take Northern Highway south, to the roundabout, turn right onto Central America Blvd. About one mile further, turn onto the Western Highway and continue on to San Ignacio town. We are one mile west of town on mile 68. Its on your left hand side about 100 yds after passing the Esso gas station on the same side.
