Bunyonyi Overland Camp & Parking is situated on the shores of Lake Bunyonyi (the deepest in Uganda, home of Otters & crayfish )in South-western Uganda.
This Campsite is the most facilitated along the shores, it is ecologically built with local materials.
Our aim is to attract people who want value for their money by offering them the following:-
Secure car park, Camping facilities ( Hot showers,clean toilets & toilet paper ), Accommodation in furnished tents, Snacks & food (the menu includes the famous fresh Crayfish right from the Lake).
Fully stocked Bar plus Cold Drinks ,Picnic & relaxation areas, Breath taking view ( Mt. Directions

From Kampala-
Kabale is situated about 410kms south west of Kampala. You drive though Masaka, Mbarara on a good tarmac road. In Kabale, go though the town centre on the main road, then take a left turn at the Y junction, Just outside the town ( on the Kisoro road), there is a yellow sign posted ' Bunyonyi Overland Camp & Parking '. About 4kms later, you will see Lake Bunyonyi - a stunning view. Continue down towards the lake following the yellow sign posts will lead you to this oasis.

From Kabale- take a Matatu ( only Mondays & Fridays) for 500 U.Shs from the Main Market,
or be in time for the daily scheduled departures to Lake Bunyonyi from Highland Business Centre at 9.30am & 4.30pm at a cost of U$3- per person one way.
Transportation can also be arranged at any time from Highland Business Centre at U$10-per vehicle one way.
Alternatively if you are lucky you can get a free ride from Highland Business Centre between 12.00noon - 1.00pm by the supply vehicle to the Camp depending on the availability of space.
