Surrounding Area

The Twin Lakes Lodge is located in the city of Greensboro, (even though the lodge is situated on 4 1/2 wooded acres!) and is minutes from major attractions and events. The Piedmont Triad International Airport is 11 miles from the lodge, the High Point Furniture Mart is 15 miles away, and the Greensboro Coliseum is 5 miles from the lodge. Other area attractions include Seagrove Pottery, the NC Zoo at Asheboro (25 miles SE of Gso.) playhouses, the Barn Dinner Theatre, many city parks which offer swimming, hiking, bike trails, and gardens. UNC-G, NC AT&T, Greensboro College, GTCC, and Bennett College are all located in the city of Greensboro.

Accommodations

The Twin Lakes Lodge is a secluded B&B which overlooks an 8 acre lake and is surrounded by 4 1/2 acres of woods. The Lakefront Suite is attached to the main house (though it has a private entrance) and the Treehouse and the Lakeview Landing are located in a cottage which is detached from the main house.
The hammocks, situated in the shaded woods or at the lake, are perfect spots for an afternoon nap!

Rooms/Suites

All accommodations offer two-person jacuzzis, summer fireplaces (operational year-round), and lakeviews. A gourmet breakfast is served in-room or on private decks daily. Other room amenities include coffee/tea service, refrigerators, TV/VCR/CD players. All rooms have outside entrances, private baths, and the Lakeview Landing is handicap accessible

The Lodge is corporate friendly and can accommodate small conferences.
A guest services area offers snacks, sodas, ice machine, and ironing board.

Take I-40 West and exit at #217(High Point Rd)
Bear LEFT to the Convention Center Exit
You will cross over I-40, come to a stop sign.
Turn RIGHT on Koury Blvd.(You will pass Sheraton Hotel/Koury Convention Center)
Turn LEFT on Pinecroft Rd (1st stop light)
Cross over Vanstory Rd
After crossing bridge Turn LEFT on Twin Lakes Dr
Note: There are two Twin Lakes Dr., make sure to cross the bridge before turning onto Twin Lakes Drive.)

I-40 East-Take the same exit # 217 At top of exit, turn Rt. onto Pinecroft Rd. Cross Vanstory and bridge then Left on Twin Lakes Drive.

!-85 From the South (Salisbury, Charlotte, Atlanta, GA):
From I-85 North, take Exit # 120 towards Greensboro.
Take the Holden Road Exit
Make a RIGHT onto Holden Rd and cross over I-85.
Go to the 2nd stoplight and turn RIGHT on Pinecroft Rd.
Go 8/10th of a mile and turn RIGHT onto Twin Lakes Drive
If you cross the bridge-you have just missed the driveway!
