Join us year round... Falls Brook is located in a snowbelt region. Enjoy backcountry skiing and snow shoeing on trails and in the woods with lots of snow Dec thru March! In the summer months, hiking trails take you to secluded fishing ponds, waterfalls and Green Mountain for a private day of adventure with nature. Swimming at Minerva Lake... A pristine lake with a swimming beach, tennis courts, basketball courts, covered pavillion picnic area, summer snack bar. A great place to cool off after a long hike or bike!Winter - ice skating, cross country ski and snow shoe trails. Welcome warming hut provides equipment for winter sports too! From your yurt... ski, hike and mtn bike to the Stony Pond lean-to for lunch or follow Falls Brook and scale several waterfalls. Take a bushwhack up the ridgeline of Green Mountain past Lost Pond for rewarding views or just relax around the yurt. Try the 6.5 mile ski/snowshoe/hike from Rt 28 to your yurt. Follow the marked trail to a lean-to on Stony Pond, then follow along Little & Big Sherman and finish at Falls Brook (half day trip at a casual pace) You'll need to run a shuttle for this one or start at Falls Brook and go to the lean to and back (approx. 8.5 miles) Sit by the waterfall at Falls Brook and just relax.
