Highlands, NC is perched on top of a mountain 4118' high. We are surrounded by National Forest, miles of hiking trails and waterfalls. The town of Highlands has many unique shops and restaurants.

Mitchell's Lodge & Cottages offers rooms, suites, cottages and a log cabin. We are nestled on over 4 acres by a small lake and and cool mountain stream. Most of our accommodations include a Jacuzzi, kitchen and fireplace. Some have balcanies overlooking a stream or small lake. The original cabins at the lodge were built by Al's grandmother in 1939 and the Cedar Lodge, our newest building, was completed in 2001.

A whirlpool spa awaits you overlooking a cool mountain stream. This spa can hold 4 adults and can be reserved for privacy.

Directions

2.5 hours from Atlanta, GA. Take I-985 North to Hwy. 441 North to Dillard,GA. Turn onto GA 246/NC 106 to Highlands. We are on right side of road before you get to Main Street in Highlands, NC.
