Active Adventure

We are the most complete outfitter in northern Minnesota's Voyageurs National Park! 5 major lakes make up Voyageurs, with over 1200 islands scattered throughout. There are over 215 island campsites, all with no fees, no permit costs, and no Park entrance costs! Best of all end-to-end you can paddle over 70 miles with No Portages! A sea kayakers dream!

OUR business is primarly sea kayaking tours, lessons, guided overnight trips, and rentals. We currently carry over 30 kayaks and 12 canoes in our fleet. We have tour from 2 hrs up to 7 day adventures, trips for all skill levels. No experience required, everyone is encouraged to try...

We also have cabins, shuttle service, guided fishing trips, and a small retail shop. We are the most complete outfitter in the area!

Typical Day

The choice is yours!
Join us, or plan a trip in Voyageurs National Park with our help...we have the finest in kayaks, canoes, and rental boats to get you exploring the islands, visiting the pictographs, swimming in waterfalls, or catching walleyes.
Our tours vary from 2hrs. to 7 day guided adventures!

Age range, type of group

Single kayaks: 12 yrs old is our minimum
Under 12 can travel in a Tandem kayak with an adult.

Sleeping and meals

Guided tours consist of fresh meals delivered daily by motor boat!
Our typical extended kayaking trip generally covers between 6-15 miles per day (depending on skill levels)
Accomidations range from camping on island sites within beautiful Voyageurs National Park...to deluxe overnights in our "mother-ship" which is a 54 ft. houseboat...equipped with hot tub, 6 dbl beds, 2 twin beds, full kitchen, and more!

Restrictions

Pets must accompany owners at all times...they cannot be left in our cabins!
General good health is recamended on all guided tours...ask about a "get in shape" plan...that will prepare you for your trip.

No previous kayaking experience required!

Rates & Availability

Rental Rates vary from $20 per day-$155 per week depending on canoe vs. kayak.

Lodging rates: start at $15 per person per night in our bunkhouse, and $45 per double in our "house keeping" cabins

Guided Kayaking trips range from $45-$895 per person...reservations are required for guided trips.

Discounts Offered

A 10% discount is given on all canoe/kayak reservations made by April 1st.

Group discounts on our guided trips, cabin rentals, and equipment rentals are available and vary depending on groups size. Please contact us for specific quotes.

Lodging discounts are 10% off for 3 consecutive nights or 15% off for 5 or more nights.
