Mayan ruins, tropical azure waters, warm days and nights, shopping, eating the local cuisine, scuba diving, and many more activities will keep you entertained. You can scuba dive a diferent reef each day, shop for curios, take island jeep tours, horseback rides or enjoy the beaches.Snorkeling and water sports at local beaches are family friendly. The island has an international airport, and can also be reached from the mainland by a 1 hour ferry ride.Walk, or rent a car for your stay, you can feel safe here!

Accommodations

Welcome to our home, Las Lunas. We have 3 rooms, so we give very personal service. The main house has 2 large bedrooms which have a queen bed or a king bed which separates into twin beds. The entire ground floor home can be rented with kitchen/living room if you like. There is a small casita, with a queen bed/bathroom just behind the main house. Owners quarters are upstairs, so we are always around to help.
Scuba Diving is our passion, and we are both Scuba Instructors. If you would like to take lessons, we give private lessons right here! We also operate a dive company called Techs-Mex Divers, so you can do any type of diving with us that you choose, Recreational, Advanced, Technical, and Closed Circuit Rebreather. We have gear for rent, as well as Nitrox and 02 tanks and fills. We transport our divers to the dive site and act as their personal guide and instructor. How convenient is that!Las Lunas is open from November thru April each season.

Rooms/Suites

Each room has plenty of storage space, comfortable beds, ceiling fans, and the common areas have dining room and tv room. Some rooms have private baths, some share with one other room. There are rooms for couples or rooms for companions. IT is a quiet neighborhood house, with Mayan neighbors, you will not forget this experience soon!

Amenities

A tropical Breakfast is served to our guests each morning before going off to dive or explore. There are many cyber cafes near us. Also many locals restaurants where the food is superb and cheap. There are 2 grocery stores in our neighborhood, and 2 gyms. Bring your cell phone, they work here.

Services Offered

Scuba Certification is available right here! You can be a certified diver in 4 days, and if you want to update your certification or become a Nitrox or Advanced diver, or more, you will get one on one training here.

INSPIRATION REBREATHER DIVERS We do inspiration-only dive trips, and have sorb, tanks, 02, diluent, stage tanks and more.
We even have a rental unit, so you don't have to bring your own!

We are a IANTD Platinum Facility.

Restrictions

Our home is entirely non smoking but the garden area with a palapa is fine for smokers. We do not take pets, except for pet iguanas and sharks.

$ 45 a night for 2,
$ 100 a night for 4 for the 2 bedroom house.

Other Information

We provide transportation to the dive site for guests diving with us. We have all scuba and snorkel rental gear. We offer complete scuba courses and intro to scuba.

Directions

Avenida 40 North, between 6 and 4. Take a taxi from the ferry, or the shuttle from the airport.
