The Casabest apartments are located on the hillside overlooking the bay of one of Mexico's most beautiful secluded beaches, La Ropa Beach, which has perfect weather for swimming all year round, delicious restaurants and glorious sunsets to watch! Restaurants on the beach serve very good food including, obviously, fresh fish, shrimps, clams and many other deliciously prepared sea foods.

Zihuatanejo itself is a bustling town geared to the interests and needs of visitors but very much with a life of its own. People are friendly and helpful, there are plenty of good restaurants, a wonderful food market and a glorious market for Mexican handicrafts. A large supermarket with everything and anything you might need and is a five minute taxi ride from the condominium.


If you are interested in fishing, there is a huge variety of boats to chose from at the Marina to spend the day out at sea. Ixtapa is an extremely successful tourist development with the best hotels, clubs and restaurants, and is a ten minute taxi ride away.

Vacation Rental Property

The condominium building, which consists of 14 apartments, is built up the hillside, so each apartment is private and has its own unimpeded view of the bay and out to open ocean.

There is a small pool and jacuzzi in shared common areas for use by guests. The rooftop jacuzzi has views for miles over the bay but guests are usually so anxious to get down to the beach that they forget to visit the jacuzzi! However, a visit is really worth while especially at dusk when you can sip a tequila in the jacuzzi while watching the sun set over the bay!

The one-bedroom apartment has a bedroom with a double bed (1.40m), a kitchenette, a dining/living room, and a bathroom with shower unit (no bathtub).

The two-bedroom apartment has two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with a double bed, a living room with two sofa beds, an equipped kitchen, a bar, and two bathrooms with shower unit (no bathtub).

Both apartments are fully air-conditioned. There are no televisions but we do provide a small radio, cassette and CD player so that you can enjoy your favourite music!

Sleeps & # of Bedrooms

The one bedroom unit sleeps two people and has one bathroom. The the two-bedroom unit sleeps six people and has two bathrooms.

Amenities

Both units have kitchens which are fitted with four efficient and very fast electric plates for cooking but these are not really suitable for producing gourmet meals for a large group. There is no regular oven but there is a an efficient microwave so that you will have all you need for any lighter meals you might like to prepare.

Both apartments are fully air-conditioned. There are no televisions but we do provide a small radio, cassette and CD player so that you can enjoy your favourite music!

Daily maid service is offered for making beds and light cleaning if so desired.

How to get there!

 When you arrive in Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo airport, taxis are always readily available to take you to the Casabest apartment by La Ropa beach.

 Inside the airport is a stand where you can order and pay for the trip to Casabest in one of the airport taxis. Just tell them where you need to go, pay and you will find the taxis waiting for you outside.

 If you prefer to be meet, please let our local administrator know beforehand and she will make arrangements for a chauffeur to pick you up and take you to Casabest and let you know how much this service costs.
