Surrounding Area

The nationally approved climatic health resort Bruchhausen-Vilsen and Asendorf is located on the B6 ( Federal road 6 ) between Hannover and Bremen. It is one of the very best areas to visit in the surrounding countryside of Bremen and Hanover and of course an excellent location to visit both cities during your traveling time in Germany.

In Bruchhausen-Vilsen we have a forest swimming pool with a bearable art ice surface (from December till February) and a beach-volley-ball area witch is located in the cure-park together with a historical village centre and several snugly pubs and restaurants...

Accommodations

Our Hostel is a former farm and country guesthouse build back in 1873. The big lounge and the TV room are panelled with old tropic pine wood like some old english pubs.
We have one private doubleroom and five shared rooms with lovely old style beds, 26 altogether.
Then our big hostelkitchen and a huge garden for outdoor activities and camping. We renovated the house carefully to save the grace of the old building.
The only part completely new is the big sanitation area, separate for men and women.
We have a food storage, so meals and breakfast as well as drinks like beer, whisky, brandy and of course non - alcoholic drinks are all available here.
Moreover there´s a roofed barbecue and campfire place on the premises...

One private double room ensuite and five shared rooms (2 - 6 people) in traditional hostelstyle...

Amenities

There are several pubs and restaurants at the historical town center of Bruchhausen-Vilsen as well as a internet cafe and a discotheque in Asendorf. A marvellous recreation valley enbedded in a medieval ring wall system is 2 miles away from our hostel...
