Activity/Tour

We provide daily classes, individual or in group, up to three different cooking programs (13-20-30 hours weekly) and three different thematic special program (Neapolitan Pizza; Pasta; Patisserie ) which length is from a minimum of one week to maximum two months with the possibility to proceed in an externship program to one of our affiliate restaurant or hotel or bakery shops. We provide three different packages "all inclusive cooking holiday" as well we serve all our services separately.

Typical Day

As soon as breakfast is over we will start our first lesson: how to prepare fresh pasta and gnocchi. You will make the dough, cut it, and shape it. The class will have a break at noon and will restart a couple of hours before dinnertime. During this pause you can rest, go to the beach, or start examining our detailed excursion book for ideas to use on your days off. The course will restart at 6pm when we will dress the fresh pasta and gnocchi made in the morning. We will then prepare a traditional fish dish – what kind of dish depends on what Neptune gives us from the sea. If the market has less than ideal offerings, we can prepare “baccala’”, a dry salt cod. We will soak it and then bake it in the oven with olive oil, garlic, sliced potatoes, black olives, capers, and cherry tomatoes. Since no dinner is complete without dessert, we will show you how to make such delights as Tiramisu’, Caprese, and Millefoglie alla Nocciola, using ingredients ranging from chocolate and coffee cream to walnuts.

Age range, type of group

The chef, provided each student with a book of recipes so that you could follow along with each day's menu and take notes and ask any questions that you may have. We always gave the students the opportunity to have hands on experiences with every dish we made, that's why we limit our class size to no more than five/six students, in order to maximize student participation.
The minimum age is 18 years old.

Sleeping and meals

Family style B&B: You will be greeted at the gate and feel at home from the moment you arrive. Mami Camilla is a very comfortable, relaxing place to stay. You can have as much privacy as you like or if you prefer, you can socialize with the family and other guests until the wee hours of the morning. There are many different types of room available depending on your preferences. There are rooms with private baths as well as others with shared baths for those on a tighter budget. There was plenty of patio areas where you can relax and enjoy the sun and the scenery. With a quick 3 minute walk you are at the beach where you can enjoy an breathtaking view of the bay and go swimming at the public or private beach
