
Surrounding Area
This inn is convenient to the Galloping Goose biking trail just outside the door, which leads all over the Island. Big cedars frame the view of the lake, and sunshine filters through onto the the deck, which overlooks fishing, rowing, peddle boating, canoeing, swimming, and the exciting ever so tall rope swing which peaks its arc far out over the swimming area. Near by are the the waterslides, whale watching, the Victoria Museum, Royal Roads, Fort Rodd Hill, Pearson College, Comosun College, Thetis Park, and Goldstream Park all within easy distance of the Inn.
Accommodations
Scenic, quiet, with a gorgeous lakefront, this location is ideal for families and individuals of all ages. We have a large deck over looking the lake and frequently eat breakfast outside in the warm morning sunshine. Inside, all with lake views are the rooms, each named after a athlete and each featuring a different size bed. We have a family room with video, books, games, a fireplace, and a pool table. Our lakeside self contained suite is ideal for larger groups or families, and is great for handicapped as well.

Rooms/Suites
The GeoffeLarge Room, named after a Mountain Biker, features a queen size bed, and is of a golden decor. The Al Howie Room, named after a local world famous ultra marathon runner, features a king size bed.It is decorated with Newfoundland art, and is of a decor based on blue. The Chris Cowan Extra End Suite, named after a Junior curler, is a 2 bedroom suite and has a double/twin bunk in the children's room and a double in the master bedroom. This has its own kitchen, and sitting/dining room, and walks out to the waterfront.
Amenities
Located near to the heart of Langford, the Innkeeper is able to recomend restaurants, pubs, take outs, order inns, and fast food places, for every taste. There is the near by Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre whicn offers everything form golf to curling, and there are four golf clubs in the immediate.area. The local library offers computer services, and Cycleinn has high speed internet service for those who have brought their own machines.
Services Offered
We are friendly, laid back, and aim to please. We serve a delicious, healthy breakfast, and cater to individual needs. We will send picnic lunches for bike rides, and can arrange a tour guide if it is wished. We have local musicians who are keen to come and provide live music and chamber playing if this is the wish of the guests, and we have a massage therapist who is willing to bring her table to the inn.

Smoking is not allowed inside the Inn.
Rates & Availability
We begin at $75 C and progress to $125 C for daily rates. There are specials for weekly stays. We have rates for snowbirders who are staying for several months (75% reductions), and encourage similar rates for athletic teams or groups which wish to attend on lengthly training sessions.
Other Information
The lake is stocked with 2 kinds of trout. The swim across the lake is approximately 350 meters. It is a 25 minute bicycle ride to Victoria, and a 15 minute car ride. We are located at KM marking 18 of the Galloping Goose Trail, and you can see on the Galloping Goose map there are many interesting sites located within biking distance of the inn.
Directions
By car from Victoria take the Trans Canada North., take exit 10, to highway 14 Sooke, and follow this around until you pass Jacklin Rd. We are the 2nd right after Jacklin Rd, and if you see Glen Lake Inn you have gone too far. By bike head out on the Goose in the Sooke direction and we are just before the 18KM marker on your right.
