Kilronan House is located in Bridge of Allan, a Victorian Spa village two miles from Stirling. The area is at the gateway to the Scottish Highlands and rich in historical sites and beautiful scenery. Stirling Castle with its Royal Palace, the Wallace (Braveheart) Monument and Bannockburn Battlefield are all nearby. Edinburgh is easily accessible by road or train from Bridge of Allan. The mountains and lochs of the Trossachs are 30 minutes drive. Gleneagles golf course is 20 minutes drive.

Accommodations

Kilronan House was built in 1853 and retains many of its original features.There are two spacious guest rooms with ensuite bathrooms (shower, WC, wash handbasin). Tea and coffee making facilities are provide in each room.


There is a large sitting room with TV for the exclusive use of the guests. Breakfast is in the dining room that has been restored to its original design.

Outside there is a large garden and secure offstreet parking.

Guest Room one has Twin beds and a Double Futon bed if required for a family. There is a view to Stirling Castle.

Guest Room two has a Double bed and we can provide an additional Single foldaway bed if required

Bridge of Allan sports club has a Gym, Tennis and Squash Courts.

Swimming in olympic size pool is available on the Campus of the University of Stirling just a ten minute walk away.

Directions

From the roundabout at the end of M9 motorway take the exit for Bridge of Allan (2 miles). In the village turn left at Clydesdale Bank into Well Road. Go up the hill and Kenilworth Road is first on right. Kilronan House is on left, number 15.
