Accommodations

Choose from 2 air-conditioned B&B suites with in-room Tv/Dvd, ensuite bathrooms (one with luxury double spa) in a private guest wing of the main residence, or 1 fully self-contained Cottage in it's own secret garden.The large Australian Colonial main residence is built in the shape of a square do-nut around a central atrium with a decorative fishpond, tropical plants and resident Green Tree Frogs during the warmer months. One entire wing is for guest use and has a guest sitting room opening to the atrium. Guests also enjoy a private entrance. The 12 metre solar heated salt-water swimming pool with decorative waterfall looks to Mt Warning in one direction and the Springbrook Border Ranges in the other. The gardens and gazebo are fairylit at night and look out across 2 lilly-filled dams to the Ranges.The fully self contained cottage is set away from the main house in its own secret garden and offers complete privacy, fully equipped kitchen, gas bbq on the verandah, air conditioned lounge with wood fire, tv/dvd/stereo, separate QS Bedroom and huge ensuite bathroom with top of the range luxury double spa bath and separate oversize shower.

Rooms/Suites

Catering for a maximum of 2 couples, both main house guest bedrooms have QS beds, tv/dvd and open to a large verandah with table, chairs, hammocks and views across rolling green hills to Mt Warning in the distance. Our Blue Room has an ensuite bathroom with large bath and separate oversize shower, tv/dvd. The Spa Suite is a larger room with dvd, bigger tv and huge ensuite with luxury double spa bath. Both rooms are air-conditioned, have double glass doors opening to a verandah with table, chairs and a hammock outside each room. The guest lounge has a stereo system, stocked fridge, small library and opens to the charming central atrium with a decorative fishpond and the resident Green Tree Frogs during the warmer months.The cottage is separate from the main house in its own secret garden and is fully equipped for a self catering holiday with kitchen/lounge/bedroom and huge ensuite bathroom with luxury double spa bath.

Amenities

Breakfast and evening port are included in the main house tariff and dinner can be provided by advance arrangement, however Hillcrest is only a 12 minute drive from the centre of Murwillumbah and a selection of restaurants. The beachside town of Kingscliff is a little further afield and enjoys a myriad of international restaurants. Solar heated salt-water swimming pool onsite. Close to horse-riding (20 mins), gym (12 mins), tennis (5 mins) restaurants (12-30 mins). Access to computer/internet by prior arrangement only.
