Description of Surrounding Area
This is one of the least developed least touristy areas left on the Florida coast. The house sits right on the beach on Alligator Point a long narrow spit of land extending about 7 miles into the Gulf of Mexico. There are no condos, bars, motels etc on the beach at Alligator Point and very few businesses of any kind. Just single family homes and undeveloped land. Most homes are waterfront, not many "second tier" or "Gulf View" houses. Public access is very limited so you have a quiet private uncrowded beach to yourselves.
This is an large older beach house. It sits on a private 1 acre lot with 110 feet of private beach. Five bedrooms three baths. It is two stories, the downstairs is groundlevel on a slab. The downstairs is older and has been flooded in many hurricanes, it shows the wear and tear but is clean and comfortable. The upstairs is newly remodeled and much nicer. It is about 4000 square feet, with a large screened porch and two decks. Easy beach access right out your door.
