Surrounding Area
From Abigail's Hotel, it's an easy walk almost anywhere you want to go! The Inner Harbour bustles with activity and is a great place for people watching. Colourful sailboats and cruising yachts fill the marina and there are several little tour boats to ferry you about. Here you'll find the Empress Hotel, the Parliament Buildings (beautifully lit at night!) and the fascinating Royal British Columbia Museum.
Walking up along Government and Wharf Streets, you'll find many of Victoria's lively restaurants, bistros and nightclubs. You can eat everything from English pub fare to exotic ethnic specialities to haute cuisine here, with plenty of romantic spots and great views to choose from.
Shopping is also a lot of fun in Victoria, where you'll find British woolens, Scottish tartan, and Irish lace. Some of the finest galleries for westcoast native art are here with distinctive masks, prints and silver jewellery. There's all kinds of wares by local artists and craftsmen in the shops...try Market Square. And in Chinatown discover a world of unusual imports.
Just up on Fort Street, you'll find an assortment of Victoria's famous antique shops. Auctions held every Tuesday and Thursday evening can produce a real find for the collector! The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, well known for its collections from the Far East, and the legendary landmark Craigdarroch Castle Historical Museum, are both within walking distance from Abigail's. Victoria is also a great spot for all kinds of outdoor recreation... world-class golfing, wilderness hiking, mountain and road biking, wind surfing, sailing, whale watching and great salt-water fishing. The Pacific coastline is spectacular! From Abigail's Hotel you can walk through Beacon Hill Park to the ocean walkways and beaches on Dallas Road. And don't forget to visit the world famous Butchart Gardens!

This is the perfect place for a memorable honeymoon or a romantic getaway. We have twenty-three unique rooms designed with your complete comfort and relaxation in mind. Every room is pleasantly and elegantly decorated in warm, soft colours with antique country furnishings and private ensuite bathrooms. Our guests love the bubbling Jacuzzi baths, cozy down duvets and wood-burning fireplaces.
Relax in our comfortable Library, where hors d'ouevres are served in the early evening. In the morning, join the company of fellow guests and watch the chef prepare our famous gourmet breakfast from the freshest and finest ingredients of the Northwest. It's a different delicious menu every day!

Canterbury Bell and Orchid Rooms -- Honeymoon Suites
Irresistible! Very large suites with vaulted ceilings, canopy king-size beds, Italian marble fireplaces, chaise lounges, fridges, and luxurious private ensuite baths with two person Jacuzzi tubs. Top floor views are framed with window boxes of colourful flowers.
Coach House Rooms-- Celebration Rooms
The ultimate! Six comfortable rooms with turn-of-the-century English decor. Featuring gorgeous four-poster king size beds, leather loveseats in front of wood-burning fireplaces, writing tables, coffee makers, and the most incredible Italian marble bathrooms with luxurious showers and double Jacuzzi tubs.
Main House Celebration Rooms
Queen size bed, Italian marble wood-burning fireplace and leather loveseat. Indulge yourself in the very large luxurious private ensuite marble bathroom with a sumptuous Jacuzzi tub.
Fireplace Rooms
Three delightful rooms available with queen size beds, wood-burning fireplaces, and a deep soaking tub in the large private ensuite bathroom.
Country Rooms
Comfortable and quiet retreats with one queen or two double beds. Relax in a deep soaking tub in the private ensuite bathroom.
Sunflower Rooms
Charming rooms with cozy queen country beds and private bathrooms with showers. These rooms are beautifully decorated and have loads of sunshine.
Amenities
Abigail's Hotel includes a three course gourmet breakfast and evening appetizers with all room rates. We do not have a dining room for lunch or dinner, however there are a variety of excellent dining options within a few blocks of our front door.
Abigail's provides a Library with a variety of reading materials from novels, classics and travel guides to current magazines and local and national newspapers.
There is a complimentary guest High Speed Internet station for access to web-based email or Word processing.
Services Offered
Celebrating a special occassion? With prior notice one of our Celebration Trays can be placed in the room for arrival. For the truly romantic types we also provide our signature Breakfast in Bed Baskets that may be arranged at the time of reservation.
Abigail's Hotel also offers a variety of A la Carte packages including our Romantic Spa package, Wine Tours and the Luxury Couples Spa Retreat.

Abigail's Hotel is entirely non-smoking.
We are adult oriented and not suitable for children under 10 years old.
Pets are welcome in our Coach House room, however; there are no pets allowed in the main building

Rates & Availability
Each room at Abigail's Hotel has its own special atmosphere... quiet, romantic and very comfortable. All rooms have private ensuite bathrooms. From the bouquets of fresh flowers to the incredible gourmet breakfast, every effort is made to ensure that you have an unforgettable experience.
All room rates include our famous breakfast in our sunny dining room and Social Hour in the Library in the early evenings before going out to dinner. Our concierge will be happy to take care of all your dinner arrangements for you.
Directions
It is as much fun to get to Victoria as it is to explore it. It is well-connected by vehicle and passenger ferries from the city ofVancouver on the BC mainland, and from Seattle, Port Angeles and Anacourtes in Washington State. There are dozens of scheduled sailings a day, and the scenery is spectacular.
Victoria is also served by the Victoria International Airport as well as a regular float plane and helicopter service to the Inner Harbour from Vancouver and Seattle.
