Located on the shores of the Laguna Bacalar, the lake of seven colors, a quiet relaxing area. The town of Bacalar is shadowed by the Fort of San Felipe where you can learn the history of this small ,but important fort.. The Cenote Azul, the world's largest fresh water well, is here for your refeshing enjoyment. Only 45 minutes away by car are the impressive Stucco Masks of the Maya found at the major ruin of Kohunlich.. Many more areas to explore, or enjoy on the lake or off..

Accommodations

This branch of Amigo's B&B is located right on the shores of the lake.. Each room has a private hot/cold water bathroom, ceiling fans, AC, remote control color TV, and a palapa roofed terrace overlooking the lake. Comfortable new mattresses allow you to rest after a long drive or a day exploring the lake or climbing the nearby Mayan Ruins. The shared living area you will find an information book as well as a stereo system for your listening pleasure. The daily breakfast is served on the large veranda overlooking the lake. Kayaks are available for your water adventure...

All three rooms have ac, ceiling fan, private bath, terrace overlooking the lake and have a choice of bedding: king, single or one queen option.. Rooms are decided on a first come bases..

Rates & Availability

Year round for single or double occupancy 400 pesos per night, and 60 pesos for each extra person including all children. Rates include all taxes and daily breakfast. Special holiday rates(Christmas,New Years, Semana Santa, Easter week), email for those. Reservation is suggested especially during peak holiday travel times as there are only three rooms which fill fast!!
