Carissa Beach House is about 350 steps from the beach.It is located in the city of Holmes Beach on Anna Maria Island.Anna Maria is a beautiful barrier island about 7 miles long.It is surrounded by beautiful beaches on the Gulf of Mexico on one side, and Tampa Bay on the other side. The Island is divided in 3 cities: Bradenton Beach, Holmes Beach and Anna Maria City. It offers a large variety of sports activities, many restaurants right on the water, fishing piers, a free trolley and perfect for biking. It is about 2hrs drive from Orlando, 2hrs from Fort Myers, 1hr from Bush Gardens and1hr from Myakka State Park.
