Maintains its continuous improvement program with the following: -

The expansion of its 12month old "Out Back Restaurant" is now being enlarged by a further 50%, this special event facility will seat up to 1000 pax in any one function. Increasing Paradise Country’s ability to cater for larger incentive needs and special events.
The expansion of its Koala enclosure, which is now almost double the size and accommodates more Koalas.

Having successfully launched itself into the international and domestic tourism market Paradise Country Recreation Farm and Function Centre at Nerang on the Gold Coast has accepted a further challenge to expand its boundaries with the purchase of this 5000-acre mountainside resort.

Paradise Country’s Managing Director, Phil Kennedy, says that his group’s expansion into a resort facility is an appropriate step, given the success of Paradise Country as an Australian Special Events and Half-Day Farm Tour Specialist.

Mr. Kennedy says that it is the intention to also position Cherrabah, as a World-Class Farm Stay Resort and Convention Centre, known for its "Eco" outback experience, rich heritage and bush trail rides.

Mr. Kennedy further stated the Cherrabah Homestead Resort’s variety of expanded programs would be marketed to advantage both the domestic and international markets.

Cherrabah’s lodges with a capacity of 170 will be complemented by guided horse trail rides with overnight camping expeditions into the mountainside wilderness. The ten-acre lake will boast additional water activities, which will include fishing, canoeing and sailing. This nine-hole golf course will be as popular with Cherrabah’s guests as it is with the dozens of Kangaroos and Wallabies who nibble on the green pastures.

"Cherrabah’s present 800 metre airstrip will be upgraded to cater for the safe landing of the shuttle service to be introduced between Cherrabah, Gold Coast and Brisbane domestic terminals: said Mr. Kennedy.
