Active Adventure

The Southern Alps is our most popular tour. It takes one on a breathtaking loop through some of the world's finest scenery. Besides great biking there are many side trips included to waterfalls, lakes and glaciers.Excellent accommodation, including renowned Wilderness Lodges at Arthur's Pass and Lake Moeraki, and meals. Typical Day

After breakfast we depart at about nine o'clock. Cyclists travel at their own pace and the support van is always available if you do not wish to bike. Most days there are optional walks. Lunch is often a picnic in a scenic location.

Age range, type of group

All age groups are catered for. Custom Tours for groups small and large are a speciality. We can combine with other activities such as hiking, fishing or kayaking.

Sleeping and meals

We stay in small country inns, wilderness lodges and hotels, and dine in local cafes and restaurants.

Restrictions

The minimum age is 14 when accompanied by parents, 18 when unaccompanied. There is no maximum age.

NZ$4,150/ US$2,722 for a 10-day Southern Alps tour. Prices range from NZ$2,890 for seven days to NZ$8,995 for 23 days
