Surrounding Area
Judith's Garden is situated in the Moosalamoo region of the Green Mountain Forest. You can see no other house from the property. This beautiful area has quiet country roads and extensive mountain trails for walking and hiking in the warmer months, and for cross country skiing and snow shoeing in the winter. Guests have direct access to Blueberry Hill's 40-mile cross-country ski trail system from the front door. Fall foliage colors are especially beautiful here.
Judith's Garden is centrally located. It provides easy access to the towns of Brandon and Middlebury as well as many of Vermont's favorite attractions.
Accommodations
Judith's Garden is an old Vermont farmhouse (circa 1840) which has been lovingly restored and expanded in recent years. The living room, with original wide-board flooring and a wood burning stove, is furnished with family antiques from England. The spacious, well-stocked country kitchen and sunny dining area with an adjoining greenhouse provide a wonderful setting for memorable breakfasts.

Outside, the house is surrounded by flower-filled gardens and inviting mountain vistas. On clear evenings you can sit on the front lawn and watch the sun set behind the Adirondack Mountains of New York. Behind the house, the broad lawn surrounds several large perennial borders and leads down to the pond where moose sometimes stop and graze. Benches are located throughout the garden for guests to sit and read, watch birds, or, if they are lucky, see a nighttime display of Northern Lights. The screened gazebo is ideal for picnic dinners or an evening glass of wine.
Rooms/Suites
Judith's Garden offers three spacious guest rooms each with an individual thermostat and private bath. Two of the rooms have queen-sized beds, the third has a double bed and a single bed. The beds are each decorated with handmade quilts. All of the rooms look out on the numerous flower beds and the mountain vistas that lie beyond.

Amenities
Plenty of choice is provided at the breakfast table. There is always orange juice and a fruit dish, homemade granola, fresh homemade breads and muffins, plus something hot like omelets, a frittata, or pancakes. Evening meals are available with prior arrangement. Guests can also enjoy their own picnics in the screened gazebo that's in the back garden.
