Surrounding Area

South Padre Island has many fun beach/vacation activities including sailing, fishing, jet-skiing, para-sailing and miles and miles of beautiful south Texas beaches. Island restaurants range from burger shacks to gourmet fine dining. Mexico is only a 30 minute drive away with many shops and restaurants. South Texas is known for its fishing, birding, tropical parks and animal reserves. Gladys Porter Zoo in Brownsville is one of the finest.

Vacation Rental Property

Marisol has been described as a "castle on the beach" for its unusual design. Condos are 2 or 3 bedroom with 1 or 2 baths. Every unit has a private balcony or patio facing the beach. Some also have balconies facing the Laguna Madrewhich lies between the island and the mainland. Our beautiful heated pool is in our tropically landscaped courtyard. On site laundry facilities are conveniently located off the courtyard.

Each condo is individually decorated with tasteful furnishings to enhance both comfort and that vacation ambience that gives guests a home away from home feeling. 2 bedroom/2 bath apartments have 1 bath attached to the master bedroom. All condos are equipped with cable TV, some have VCR's, DVD, and stereos.

Amenities

Marisol has a large beautiful heated pool with kiddie pool attached. Coin laundry facilities are on site. Phones in every condo have data ports. Several very nice restaurants are with in 1 or 2 blocks.

Restrictions

All condos are non smoking units. Pets are not allowed.No rentals to groups of students or persons under 21 years of age. Familes with children are encouraged.

Rates & Availability

Rates are seasonal varying from $130 per night (3 night minimum) to $300.00 per night. Monthly rates from September through February. Daily or weekly rates only in summer. January, February and July tend to be fully booked a year in advance.

Directions

From Corpus Christi take Hwy 77 south to the Rio Grande Valley. South of San Benito watch for exit for Hwy 100. Take Hwy 100 east to South Padre Island. Turn north on Padre Blvd. 2 blocks past 4th traffic light turn right on Marisol street which comes right into our parking lot.

Discounts Offered

Winter rates (Labor Day through February) are our lowest rates of the year. April other than Easter week and the first 3 weeks of May are also at winter rates. Spring break and Easter rate discounts are available for families who book in advance.
