Active Adventure

Cobalt Coast is a full service dive resort that opened November 2000 with 26 ocean and garden rooms and suites on the Caribbean Sea. The property features 6 new Garden Suites opened in January 2003. We offer a full bar & restaurant, ocean side pool deck and fresh water swimming pool and Jacuzzi. All units are air conditioned with bar fridge, coffee in room, ceiling fans, data ports for your PC, with full kitchens available also.

Typical Day

Divetech, the Cayman Islands premier training centre for scuba and free diving, offers a full range of watersports for Cobalt Coast visitors. Visitors can also dive at our new location at Lighthouse Point, one of the best shore dives on the island. All packages include complimentary unlimited shore diving, in addition to a daily 2-tank boat trip.Training is available for recreational divers from learn to scuba dive to Instructor programs. Divetech is the islands premier Technical training & charter facility also, offering nitrox, mixed gas, SCR & CCR rebreathers, scooters and more.Dive charters run daily as 2-tank boat trips with unlimited shore diving included in all packages.Night dives are run Tuesdays and Fridays to explore the reef at night and visit the crabs, lobsters, eels and octopus found in abundance.Training and dive charter packages are available for any number of nights. Underwater scooters & an inflatable are a few of our toys! along with unsurpassed snorkeling right out front of the resort.

Age range, type of group

All rooms are 1 or 2 bedroom with studio options available. King beds with queen pullouts are in all suites. Rooms are spacious featuring additional amenities such as TV, satellite, phones, central air conditioning, mini or full kitchens available. Individuals, couples, families and groups are welcomed. Children's snorkel & dive programs are available from age 8 and up.

Sleeping and meals

Cobalt Coast has been designed as a quiet getaway from the main Seven Mile Beach strip, in a setting on a deserted stretch of the NW Point of the island right on the ocean.The property is built as a full service resort, offering a fresh water swimming pool, large deck area of sun or shade for afternoon lounging, and a large jacuzzi for evening warms ups under 10,000 Caribbean stars.A dock is located right out front for easy loading for boat charters and dive and snorkel trips. The dive shop is located right on site with a retail store, equipment rentals, tanks, and daily instruction available.

Restrictions

A variety of watersports services are available on property. Minutes away are several other great West Bay restaurants, horse back riding on the beach, and island tours are arranged for submarine trips, Botanical park visits, or to Historic Pedro St. James Castle and the Cayman Turtle Farm.

Rates & Availability

Wide range and variety - lots of divers. Our best values are dive and room packages - from 4 night stays through 7 night stays. You can include your breakfast only or our great value full meal plan!
