Surrounding Area
Grasslands National Park. This is in the Frenchman River Valley. Lots of coulies and badlands. Great wilderness hiking. Jurrasic fossils, plains culture indian sites, including medicine wheels and buffalo jump (2000 years old). Great bird watching, including burrowing owl and sage grouse. You will see deer, prong-horn antelope and elk, and Grasslands National Park will have a wild herd of buffalo in a few years. The only prairie dog colony in Canada is situated here.

Other meals are served in our restaurant by reservation. Hardwood floors througout the building. 12 foot ceilings. A peaceful building with lots of old charm. Beautiful large sitting room, restored chapel, meeting room, large decks and hammocks in our yard to swing in while listening to meadow larks and numerous other birds. Fire-pit for evening get-togethers.
