Surrounding Area
Lac Duparquet is in the Abitibi region of Quebec, the lake has over 135 islands some are nesting grounds for blue herons and others have cedar trees which are the oldest in North America.
This is an area which has snow from december until the end of March. Explore our 10km of groomed backwood trails or 3 km of separate snowshoe trails behind the cottages.
In summer you can take the same path by canoe or kayak the first explorers took in 1650, when the 'grand north" was discovered.They passed through Lac Duparquet on their way to James Bay.
