We are the way to West Yellowstone and the area offers a wide variety of summer and winter fun. We have many unique shops, galleries, antique stores, and museums within a short drive, including a local golf course minutes away. We are open all year, so whether you want to fish, swim, ski, shop browse or sightsee, you can find it here.

Accommodations

The BlackSmith in is a contemporary round Eagle's Nest home, cedar sided to add a distinctive western flavor. Our decks and patio areas allow a comfortable way to enjoy our pleasant evenings and beautiful sunsets.

Rooms/Suites

Each of our rooms includes a king or queen size bed, private bath, TV/DVD and features a hand painted mural depicting our western heritage. To top it off, locally made quilts adorn each bed.

Amenities

We offer many of your breakfast favorites, 3 kinds of pancakes, scratch buttermilk waffles, build your own omelettes, or if you are adventurous, try our "kitchen sink omelette or scrambled eggs, where we throw everything but the kitchen sink in. Add our fresh ground estate coffee and we'll help get your day started right.

Directions

Directions to BlackSmith Inn


Coming from I-15 northbound from Salt Lake City - Take exit 119 (Rexburg, Rigby, Yellowstone, Hwy 20), at the top of the ramp, turn right at the light. You will be on ***Hwy 20, in approximately 15 miles, you will turn off the freeway at the first Rigby exit. This will bring you into town and the first stoplight (by the Subway) turn left, in about ½ mile you will see a sign for the BlackSmith Inn, turn left on 3900 East, by the red brick church. About 3/4 of a mile on 3900 East you will see the BlackSmith Inn. The sign sneaks up on you, so if you see two round buildings on your right and you didn’t turn into the parking lot, or you have gone around a curve - YOU HAVE GONE TOO FAR!! Turn around, the sign is easier to see coming back.

From the Airport - after you leave the airport, follow the road to the first stoplight, that is Hwy 20, turn left at the light. Follow the Salt Lake City directions from ***Hwy 20 on.

Coming from I-15 southbound from Montana - Take exit 120 and at the stop sign at the end of the ramp, take a left and follow the Hwy 20 instructions.

Coming on Hwy 20 southbound - from West Yellowstone, Island Park and Rexburg, Take the first Rigby exit, at the stop sign at the top of the ramp, turn right (Hwy 48, Business 20), the road will wind around a bit as you come into town. When you come to the first stoplight turn left (follow the Hwy 48 signs) and go to the next light (by the Subway) and turn right, in about ½ mile you will see a sign for the BlackSmith Inn, turn left on 3900 East, by the red brick church.
